On February 15, 2016, the online registration for both the USA Hockey National Development Camp and the Central District Player Development Camp will open and will remain open until March 1, 2016. This is open to the 1998-2002 birth years, below is an explanation to what is available for players in these birth years:
1998 – All players are eligible for the Central District Player Development Camp, June 19-24, 2016 in Green Bay, WI. Knowing that USA Hockey only goes to the 1999 birth year for the National Camp, the Central District has continued to make this camp available to these players. Again this year the camp will have 2 teams of 20 players including 3 goalies, 6 defense and 11 forwards and will be for the 1998-1999 birth years only. To be eligible for an invite to this camp (the staff currently is represented by DI, DIII and Club Hockey coaches) you must register for the tryouts April 8-10 at Seven Bridges, Woodridge, IL.
1999-2001 – All players are eligible for both the USA Hockey and Central District Development Camps. In late December all USA Hockey registered players in the mentioned birth years received an email from USA Hockey explaining these camps and the process to be eligible for them. If you did not receive this please email me at wahadir@yahoo.com and I will send this information to you. You must register and attend the Central District tryout April 8-10, at Seven Bridges.
2002 – All players are eligible for the Central District Player Development Camp, again the staff are all college hockey coaches/players and most have or currently are on the USA Hockey National Development Camps staff. The Central District has increased this camp to 102 players in the 2001-2002 birth years, meaning 6 teams of 2 goalies, 6 defense and 9 forwards. The camp hosted in Green Bay is a 5 night/6 day camp June 19-24, 2016, and the cost per player is $450.00. You must register and attend the tryout April 8-10 at Seven Bridges.
Around the 14th of February you will be emailed the registration link that will open up on February 15th.
Goalies for all birth years, just like last year we have to limit the number of goalies to 12 per birth year, so please do not wait. Register as soon as you can. If at the time you register that birth year is filled it will tell you to contact Mary Ann Robinson and you will be put on a waiting list.
