In the spirit of Dedication, Honor, Tradition, and Community, the St. Jude Knights will join Hockey Fights Cancer to unite in the fight against cancer during the month of November.
St. Jude will sponsor a series of events throughout the month to support and remember all those affected by cancer. In addition to raising funds to help those affected, St. Jude teams will also have the opportunity to display “I Fight For” signs during homes games in November to show our support for family and friends. St. Jude teams will also participate in a variety of service projects to help those in need.
Any organization that plays any of our teams during the month of November will have the opportunity to fill out a “I fight For” card and will be displayed around Southwest Ice Arena, in remembrance of anyone they wish that lost their battle or is currently in battle with cancer. We welcome any and all to participate.
Additionally, as part of our efforts, we will be selling St. Jude Hockey Fights Cancer t-shirts to raise funds for this great cause. All proceeds will go directly to Hockey Fights Cancer and related charities suggested by our players’ families. Click HERE for order form.
Please follow @StJudeHockey on Twitter, use hashtag #KnightsUnited to share you and your team’s activities and tributes towards this great cause.
