The 3rd annual USA Hockey – Blind Ice Hockey Summit is being hosted by the Chicago Blackhawks Blind Hockey Team on October 22nd and 23rd, 2016. This year’s event will be the biggest to date with players having already expressed interest from the Chicago Blackhawks Blind Hockey, New York Nightshade, Pittsburgh Penguins Blind Hockey, Washington Wheelers, and Vermont Whiteouts, as well as independent players not associated with any teams and players from Canada.

The only skill required is all participants are encouraged to have some skating experience – if you are blind or visually impaired and want to get involved in the fast growing para-sport of Blind Ice Hockey, or you are a parent, coach, or administrator that wants to get a program going in your area this is the event for you.

Three years ago, at the inaugural Blind Ice Hockey Summit in 2014, there were only two players in the United States with Blind Hockey experience – at this year’s summit we expect representatives from at least 6 teams!
