The second half of the Metro Girls High School season is off to a nice start with both tiers facing off against stiff competition across the board. The games have just begun…updates to come in future columns. All-State voting is underway; the players for that exciting night will be announced in the next couple of weeks!

Special Events
New Trier Alumni Game: On Thursday, December 22nd the New Trier Girls Hockey team held its annual alumni game. The girls had a great time facing off against their former team mates and checking in with players they had not seen in a while. For many it is the only time during the year that they get to see one another.
Many former players came out to play, including one girl from the school’s inaugural team that players during the 1999-2000 season. Several sets of siblings reunited on the ice, and the newly minted alumni loved played their former team.
