The Chicago Blues Hockey Club is closing out its 20th anniversary season with a fundraising game between the Chicago Blues Pee Wee Major CSDHL team and the Chicago Blackhawks Warriors. The game is set for Sunday, March 19 at 3 p.m. at the Edge Ice Area, 735 Jefferson Street in Bensenville. Admission is $5 at the door.
The Blackhawks Warriors ice hockey program was founded in 2015 in conjunction with USA Disabled Hockey to give our injured military members and veterans an opportunity to play hockey in an environment that suited their needs. Click HERE for more information.
The Chicago Blues Hockey Club set a fundraising goal of $10,000, and the club got things going by donating the first $2,500! Click HERE if you would like to donate. All proceeds will be given to the Warriors to ensure they make it to the USA Hockey Disabled Festival in April. Any remaining funds will be distributed to the Hornets Sled Hockey Team. Corporate sponsors are greatly appreciated.
