MB Ice Arena is proud to host a showcase highlighting local and regional talent for juniors and seniors in high school and current junior hockey players April 12-14, 2019. The goal for this event is to educate and create an opportunity for players to showcase their interest and talents in front of top ACHA Programs. With 10 of the top ACHA schools already committed, and more to come, this event will be unlike any other event in the area. We are excited to announce that the following schools will be in attendance: University of Illinois, Robert Morris University, Illinois State, University of Iowa, Indiana University, DePaul University, Northern Illinois University, Bradley University, Aurora University, St. Norbert’s and Waldorf.
Players will have multiple opportunities to showcase their skills to various programs on and off the ice. The weekend is set-up to give players a practice ran by current ACHA coaches and compete in 3 showcase games in front of these ACHA programs. Off the ice, players and parents are encouraged to attend our coaching panel. The panel is a great platform to learn more about all the programs, school admission requirements, receive a sense of what it takes to be a college student athlete, and have the opportunity to ask questions to any of the coaches in attendance.
In addition, each player will be given the chance to participate in our “Top Gun Competition.” The “Top Gun Competition” will be held in our Rapid Shot shooting studio and each of the participants’ scores will be sent to every coach in attendance to compare against their current players and other players from the prospects weekend.
