Wesley Chapel, Fla. – Team Easton which is comprised of mostly Chicago area players, several of whom currently coach youth and girls hockey in the Chicagoland area took their talents to the Tampa suburb of Wesley Chapel for the USA Hockey 50+ Tier I National Championships the weekend of April 11-14th.
Team Easton, led by the superb goaltending of Andy Kokosa and the passionate leadership of Chip Kenyon swept their way through the 3-game round robin and semi-finals (click here for game details) before falling to “Puffins” from Newfoundland, Canada 4-2 in a hard-fought championship game that went down to the wire. It was an incredible weekend of hockey and fun in sunny Florida with kudos to USA Hockey for putting on an outstanding event for several senior age levels.
Team Easton roster is comprised of: Andy Kokosa, Chip Kenyon, Paul Dukovac, Jeff, Nelson, Ken House, Jeff Green, Dave Lobdell, John Guagliardo, Mike Real, Tor Solberg, Bryan Desmond, Dan McFall, Bob Herber, Scott Cyr and Dan Lambert.
