New Trier Hockey Club Raises $14,000 to Support Fight Against Pediatric Cancer

By New Trier Hockey Club – Continuing their Homecoming tradition from years past, New Trier Hockey players enjoyed a beautiful fall day scattered across the local community in an effort to fight pediatric cancer. On Saturday, October 5th, players from all six teams – Green, Blue, White, Gray, Junior Varsity, and Girls – helped to raise both funds and awareness on behalf of the Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation.

Cash donations collected at various local merchants throughout the community as well as an online campaign totaled $14,000 this year (over $54,000 to date). The money raised will help to make Bear Hugs and other great programs for kids and their families fighting cancer possible across Illinois.

We are grateful to these local businesses for their support.
