Players Invited to Attend the 2020 America’s High School Showcase Illinois Team Tryouts Announced

By Mike Mullally, AHAI Director & Showcase Team General Manager

USA Hockey’s America’s High School Showcase will be conducted April 16-20, 2020 at the Centene Community Ice Center in Maryland Heights, Missouri.

Twenty-four boys’ teams from across the United States will compete and showcase their talents to scouts from every major hockey institution in the country. The purpose of this prestigious event remains the same. It is designed to allow high school hockey players from around the country, who do not traditionally get scouted due to geographic and budgetary constraints within the scouting circles, the opportunity to compete against the best of the best during a five-day period and be seen by every high level program in North America.

During the past couple of months, coaches from Illinois High Schools have been rating players throughout Illinois. The players invited to tryout have been identified as one of the best players in Illinois High School Hockey. AHAI wishes to extend to them an invitation to ‘tryout” for the team that will represent Illinois at the America’s High School Showcase. There will be three (3) tryouts for everyone to determine the final America’s High School Showcase Illinois team. Click HERE to view rosters or click images below to enlarge.
