Notre Dame College Prep Raises Over $6K for Danny Did Foundation!

The Notre Dame College Prep Ice Dons completed their 400 mile challenge in support of kids with epilepsy on April 11th. The teamed raised over $6000 for the Danny Did Foundation. Founded by Chicago parents Mike and Mariann Stanton in 2010 after the sudden death of their four-year-old son Danny, the Danny Did Foundation’s primary mission is to prevent deaths caused by seizures. You can learn more about their seizure detection device program and other resources by visiting www.Dannydid.org.

The Danny Did Foundation takes it’s name from the last line of Danny Stanton’s obituary, written by his dad: “Please go and enjoy your life. Danny did.” The foundation is special to the Ice Dons as Danny would be 16 years old today, and several team members knew him as a childhood friend. The team celebrated Danny’s spirit in every mile logged during this fundraising and awareness event.
