AHIHA Raffle to Support the Annual Stan Mikita School for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing

This year’s AHIHA raffle will once again benefit and help support the Stan Mikita Hockey School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. The annual week long camp will be held June 12-June 19 at the Edge Ice Arena in Bensenville, IL.

The school was founded in 1973 by NHL Hall of Fame Chicago Blackhawk Stan Mikita and Chicago businessman Irv Tiahnybik to provide hockey training, skills and a supportive community to instill confidence and self-esteem in deaf and hard of hearing athletes. Players attend each year with no charge for the camp. It was Stan and Irv’s dream to ensure the hockey camp would continue to operate free to its families. By supporting this Raffle, you will help carry out their dream and continue this tradition.

Tickets are $100 each. 15 cash prizes including a grand prize of $10,000 will be awarded. Only 750 tickets are sold. The drawing will be conducted on June 16, 2021. Winner need not be present. For more information, go to ahiha.org.
