Celebrate Hawkey Day in Cicero on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, at the Bobby Hull Community Ice Rink! You can register for events such as a hockey game and a family or instructional skate, and part of the proceeds will benefit the Eddie Olczyk Award.

Hockey Game ($185) – Saturday, December 27 at 11:00 a.m.

The way the game was meant to be played; outdoors, plenty of layers, and yelling for that break away pass up the middle just to stay warm! Come share or relive an outdoor ice hockey game under the lights at the Bobby Hull Ice Rink in Cicero, Illinois. Two teams will battle in the inaugural Hawkey Day in Cicero ice hockey game, complete with Hawkey Day jerseys, on ice officials and color guards for our National Anthem. For many, or for the first time, this is how a hockey family is started!

Family/Instructional Skate ($75) – Saturday, December 27 at 2:00 p.m.

Come out and skate with the stars! From beginners to advanced, all are welcome to our inaugural family and instructional skate at the Bobby Hull Ice Rink in Cicero, Illinois. Various Chicago Blackhawks Alumni, University of Illinois Head Coach Nick Fabbrini, Lawrence University Assistant Coach Jonathon Sheridan, and the Chicago Blackhawks Ice Crew Girls will be on hand to walk you through a drill or help you along the rink with your family & friends. Come share a unique experience outdoors with the wonderful family of hockey and ice skating.
